About This Course

Able to develop confidence and project a positive image to the customer and obtain direct feedback from customer(s) so as to make improvements to the quality of service provided.
Identify the causes for workplace problems and provide constructive solutions through defining the problem, collect information and process a solution. By learning to use problem solving tools at work will inspire them to be more self-reliant and develop important thinking skills to be contributing as members of the cleaning team.

What You’ll Learn

This Module addresses the outcomes that are required for cleaning and facilities management staff to provide efficient customer service in the building services and cleaning sector. The overall objective of this module is to transform the role and mindsets of an ordinary cleaning crew to provide professional service by conveying both knowledge concepts and skills to help them in their day-to-day role in working and interacting with people.
The curriculum is developed with a ‘part-to-whole’ sequencing which starts with knowing and identifying who are the people included in the course of work as ‘customers’ which besides contractors, building management, the general public should also cover team members. The fundamental concepts are put across in 3 Learning Units.
