About This Course

This course aims to provide learners who are interested in pursuing a skills-based career in the food services industry with the necessary expertise in preparing and cooking western cuisine sauces.

What You’ll Learn

After the course, learners will be able to:

  1. Prepare multiple complex sauces using correct cooking techniques in a timely manner.
  2. Identify unique ingredients used in the preparation of sauces.
  3. Demonstrate different mixing and cooking techniques and methods of preparing different sauces.
