About This Course
This course will prove invaluable for those who wish to embark into the F&B industry as an entrepreneurship. It provides a “roadmap” to navigate in the most efficient manner to start a F&B business. Knowledge and competencies taught will range from budgeting to hiring the right talents to kickstart the business venture successfully.
What You’ll Learn
1) Evaluate business trends in the local F&B industry and recognise opportunities and gaps available.
2) Determine and capitalise on values of social, cultural, economic, and symbolic capital as well as resources available during downtime and downturn in the local F&B industry.
3) Design products and services for the local out of home dining scene with empathetic research, strong problem identification, astute ideation, and continuous feedback testing.
4) Implement a Business Model Canvas (BMC) that fosters a holistic view of a business by applying business management strategies.
5) Manage cash flow to achieve Minimum Variable Product (MVP) using the 5-step iterative Process.
6) Establish products positioning based on the customer’s pain/gain along the customer journey map.
