What You’ll Learn
Learners will be able to demonstrate competency in the following area:
1) Apply the safety procedure to ensure all smartphone camera accessories and recording media needed are functional and prepared for productions.
2) Apply techniques to routinely check, maintain, and store the smartphone equipment in optimal condition for the next round of shooting.
3) Determine the relationship between focal distances and shot quality by including the focal points on sets, floors, and props.
4) Determine the types of smartphone focus parameters to calculate the focal distances required to achieve sharp and precise focus on subjects.
5) Apply technicalities and configure smartphone camera lenses and accessories to design visual effects.
6) Adjust the smartphone lens focus to create the visual effects of the subject within the shots.
7) Follow the instructions to back-focus the smartphone lens to achieve the visual effect.
