The National Environment Agency (NEA) has declared it necessary for all cleaners to take at least one WSH cleaning course and one Core Module in order to be qualified for the renewal of a cleaning business licence and stay in compliance.
Attending more approved courses is advised for current cleaners who want to improve their skills and advance in the environmental service industry in order to stay relevant and competitive.
It is best for new cleaners who want to work in the environmental services sector to take two WSQ mandatory courses and earn certificates for one WSH course and one Core Module.
This course is a Level 1 program that will address knowledge and multi-skill requirements for entry into the cleaning industry, focusing on workplace safety. Assessment Only Pathway (AOP) is available.
