What You’ll Learn
At the end of the course, learners will be able to demonstrate competencies to:
- Cater different maternity cuisine to special cultural and dietary restrictions and requirement
- Curate different maternity cuisine based on types of events and profiles of customers
- Explain various factors shaping maternity food culture, choice, taste and flavour
- Conduct trim tests, drained weight tests and shrinkage tests to ensure quality and consistency in maternity cuisine
- Inspect consistency and provide improvement suggestions in preparing different types of maternity cuisine
- Coordinate preparation time needed for different components of maternity cuisine to be ready at the allocated time
- Prepare and cook different complex maternity cuisine using a combination of cooking techniques
- Plate complex maternity cuisine finely
